Gabriella Abraham is a licensed lawyer practicing in all Federal Level Courts in Ethiopia with focus in areas of business law, property law and contract law
Gabriella studied Bachelor of Laws in Haramaya University and was awarded with the best female student award of her class. She specialized in International Economic and Business Law at the same university.
Gabriella has diverse experience in academics, legal practice, research and training. She was an assistant lecturer of law at Haramaya University for five years where she gave courses on investment law and gender and the law. She later joined a law office where she assisted various international and local organizations including DHL, PwC, Boortmalt PLC, Ramada Hotel, the World Bank, SCB, French Agency for Development (AFD), and PVHAM. In order to acquire hands on experience, Gabriella worked as senior business consultant and chief operations officer of a project focused on enabling foreign investors to acquire businesses in Ethiopia. She also worked as a consultant for a World Bank project concerning AFCFTA. Gabriella worked as a legal representative of a foreign aerospace company on its government procured contract.
Gabriella has ample experience in contract drafting, legal advisory, developing legal due diligence report, legal research and training, and litigation. She provides excellent service in local establishment of companies either as a green field investment or through acquisition. Gabriella ably represents clients before court on commercial, contract enforcement and property matters.
